Rice - 5 Fresno State - 17
In a remarkable beginning, my dear Fresno State Bulldogs beat No. 5 Rice 17-5 in the College Baseball World Series. I was so excited, just as many Bulldog fans in Fresno and around the US (yes, there are fans outside of the Fresno area.) Ironically, all of the 'favored' teams lost on Saturday and Sunday.
I was especially excited to see Jordan (my pastor's son - #19 second from right) actually got to play... AND he even hit a home run to bring in 2 other runners besides himself. WAY TO GO JORDAN!!!
The Bulldogs now meet the North Carolina Tar Heels on Tuesday.
I'll be glued to the set that night!!
